Portable and durable.  Battery operated with (6) "D" cells for 1,000 hours of operation with alkaline batteries.  Can also be used with AC power with removable power cord 120 VAC.  Three large bright numeric displays for weight, unit weight and quantity provide high contrast even in dim light.  Full numeric keyboard and unit weight preset keys.  Also provides negative sampling and counting.  Platform size 9.5" x 12.5".  Overall size 13.5" x 14.44" x 4.68" high.
